The Challenge
As electric vehicles (EVs) become more prevalent, enclosed spaces like car parks face a growing risk of EV battery fires. These fires are challenging to detect early; are notoriously hard to put out; and can spread quickly- in some cases in up-to two minutes. This causes catastrophic damage and endangers lives.
This is particularly concerning for fleet owners, as a single EV fire can lead to total vehicle loss, extensive facility damage, and operational downtime, resulting in significant financial and logistical setbacks.
