Overview
This is my undergraduate final year project, which excellently showcases my learning achievements during my undergraduate studies. The project is very comprehensive, covering the entire process of industrial design, including research, market demand, product design, sketching, user testing, internal structure design, manufacturing, business model, etc. From my research, I found that memories generated by scents are more profound and lasting, so I attempted to establish a connection between people's olfactory senses and their memories.

Focused on scent as the primary medium, this product offers an enchanting way to reminisce the best times of your life. I believe in the power of scent, its ability to teleport us back in time, reviving memories with a level of vividness that surpasses any visual or auditory record. This is not just a product; it's a sensory time capsule, a novel way to capture, preserve, and recall your most treasured memories
Memory Station
Dive into a multi-dimensional reminiscence with the Memory Station. This device, armed with ambient lighting, sound effects, projection, and scent release, allows a holistic sensory recall of your cherished memories.
Modular Design
The modular product allows you to re-experience your memories. With the flexibility to position the projector, ambient light, and scent camera at any place at home, this Memory Station brings your treasured memories to life, creating a vivid, immersive experience beyond visuals and sounds.
Story Board
A scent camera that you can take with you anywhere. The perfume company develops scent pods for each city based on the characteristics of the city (food, landscape, etc.). The scent pod consists of essential oils and a memory card and users can buy special scents exclusive to their local area wherever they go. When users travel, the camera helps them to explore their journey and record their inner feelings.
The camera will remind the user at random times to record the moment and when the user presses the shutter the scent is released, which will connect the scent with the memory. When you get home, insert the scent pod into the scent diffuser, which reads the contents and releases the recorded digital data and scent. This way of recalling can be made more emotional and you can create your own scent, which can be revived later when you feel stressed or anxious.

In terms of color choice, the product predominantly features shades of gray and black, imbuing it with a visually pleasing texture and a minimalist aesthetic. The touch of purple serves as the perfect accent, a color intrinsically tied to emotions, adding a layer of depth and intrigue to the overall design.
In the choice of materials, I opted for soft canvas to enhance user comfort and friendliness. The sparkle texture, the design blends seamlessly into home decor, making it not just a utility, but a delightful addition to your interior design.
